Golden, B.C., Canada – Getting to the Champagne Powder Capital of Canada just got a whole lot easier. We are thrilled to announce the launch of two (2) new shuttle services that will provide daily transfers to Golden British Columbia and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort (KHMR).

The Champagne Powder Shuttle will give travellers the option to take our comfortable and convenient shuttle service from the Calgary International Airport (YYC) directly to Golden, eliminating the need for rental cars or complicated travel arrangements. This service will run daily and will provide hassle-free transportation during the winter. The Golden Kicking Horse Connector is an in-destination shuttle service providing regular daily transfers between multiple key locations in the Town of Golden and the base area of the resort.

“Providing additional ground transportation options for long haul domestic and international travellers has been a priority of ours. Says Joanne Sweeting of Tourism Golden. These two new shuttle services will allow for seamless travel between our closest international airport the town of Golden and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Additionally, these shuttles align with our commitment to responsible travel by providing travel options that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions”

The Champagne Powder Shuttle to and from Calgary International Airport will begin on Thursday, December 22, 2022, and continue daily until Sunday, April 2, 2023. The Golden Kicking Horse Connector service will also begin on Thursday, December 22, 2022, offering 12 roundtrips daily with an additional 5 round trips on Friday and Saturday evenings (view the entire schedule). A season pass option will also be available for The Golden Kicking Horse Connector service making it more affordable for residents to get up to the resort without the need for a vehicle. These new transportation options were made possible by a partnership between Tourism Golden, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and the Town of Golden through the Resort Municipality Initiative.
