Cedar Lake
Cedar Lake is a small wilderness lake accessed via a gravel forestry road on the way to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. This forested area above the Columbia River offers camping and day-use with picnic sites, parking, and toilet facilities.
In summer Cedar Lake is also a popular location for hiking and mountain biking and has a beach for families to enjoy swimming and picnicking. The Moonraker Trail system, offering over 50 km of recreational trails, is accessible from the campground.
Cedar Lake is home to resident Loons and Pileated Woodpeckers, as well as various other songbirds.
There are four lakes in the group that have been stocked with trout over the years. Shore fishing is limited so canoe fishing is recommended.
