Part of the Purcells in Glacier National Park, Mount Sir Donald is one of three of the "Classic 50 Climbs in North America". It was first climbed on September 3, 1903 by Eduard Feuz, Christian Bohren, and E. Tewes. It is located near Rogers Pass, 80 km west of Golden. This phenomenal peak is considered Canada's "Matterhorn".
