Golden Golf Course
The Golden Golf Course has 5.5 km of classic trail close to Golden's downtown core. These trails are groomed on an as-needed basis and provide the perfect opportunity to "get out" when you don't have time to go all the way to Dawn Mountain.
CLASSIC: The Golden Golf Club trails are groomed for classic skiing only. Suitable for beginners and intermediates.
STAY ON THE TRAILS: Please stay on the groomed trail. The golf club staff don’t want skiers on the hilly 'greens' as they get negatively impacted by skier traffic. Let’s be good guests so we are welcomed back.
DONATIONS: Skiing at the golf course is included in our Golden Nordic Ski Club Membership. If you are not a member, please bring some cash ($2 recommended) to deposit into the donation box at the trail head to help with the fuel cost for the snowmobile groomer. Grooming is done by volunteers. Thank you for your support!
DOGS and WALKERS: The Golden Golf Course ski trails don’t allow dogs or walking on the ski trails. If you see skiers with their dog, please gently remind them of this expectation. Please refer to many of the wonderful alternative locations in the Golden area to anyone you might see walking/snowshoeing on the cross-country ski trails.
Due to their lower elevation they are best skied between late December and early March. Stay up to date about conditions here.
