Spillimacheen Crags
Spillimacheen Crags (or Spilli Rock) is a popular sport climbing area south of Golden with incredible dolomite walls. With over 100 climbing routes ranging from 5.6 to 5.12, Spilli Rock sees climbers from early spring through to late fall.
The climbing is found on two distinct cliff faces each with a very distinct character. The larger of the two, Hueco Wall (named after the distinctive hueco features found on the wall), has more traditional climbs some of which are 2 pitches long. The shorter more compact cliff, Nathan's Wall, has a number of fingery climbs on good rock, but with sharp compact holds.
The area has great camping spots with only 10-15 minutes approach
