The West - Revelstoke to Golden (Highway 1)
If you are starting your Golden roadtrip from the West (Trans-Canada Highway 1) then make sure you allow enough time to take in some of these iconic points of interest.
Remember, if you are stopping in a national park, you will need a valid Parks Pass.
Mount Revelstoke National Park

Rock Garden Trail
Interpretive trail with rock staircases and stepping stones.
Loop Brook Trail
An easy trail, mostly on an old railway bed, featuring huge stone pillars from old railroad bridges.
Rogers Pass Discovery Centre
This recently-renovated information centre features a theatre, exhibits about avalanches, wildlife and the history of the area.
Bear Creek Falls
An easy trail descends to an impressive waterfall.
