Avalanche Awareness Days
Free event! Everyone is welcome to join in! The event will run Saturday and Sunday from 11:00AM to 2:15PM both days.
Avalanche Awareness Days is a national celebration of Canada’s avalanche safety expertise and an invitation to enjoy the winter backcountry with education and training.
We will be in Crystal Bowl all weekend on January 11th & 12st with various activities going on. Look for the Kicking Horse Arch and Tent in Crystal Bowl!
In partnership with GO! Solutions Pet Food, Avalanche Canada, CARDA, and the KHMR Safety team will be holding workshops about Avalanche Awareness with explosives, transceivers, Avalanche Rescue Dog demonstrations and more.
