Golden offers fabulous fishing options for spin casting and fly-fishing from the shore or boat and even ice fishing in the winter. Fish species range from early and late rainbow trout, small cutthroat trout in alpine lakes to char in the river and giant ling [burbot] and bull trout in the hydro reservoir.
